Our Braces

Braces are the most common way to straighten teeth.

Braces generally have two components: brackets and wires.

Today's brackets can be made of metal or of tooth-colored ceramic. The brackets and wires are usually attached to the front of your teeth. In some cases, they may be "hidden" behind your teeth, these are called lingual braces. Wires, which do the work of moving your teeth, are threaded through slots in the brackets. You will need to see your orthodontist periodically to adjust your wires.

These wires will apply gentle forces on your teeth to guide them into their correct position. This will create an ideal smile and improve your long term function, and health. Dr. Corbett will make this process comfortable and effortless for you.
